If you've wandered over here, first off, thank you for considering the idea of working with me. I've never been a strong salesman, so let's quickly just look at the ways I've helped people in the past, and might be able to do so again.
I currently have a great full-time job with Capellic, so my first 40 is booked, but I am available for projects as my time allows. I am a whiz at Drupal, Laravel, VueJS, and DevOps / Docker stuff. I am also pretty good at setting up the structure of a good software project with people-focused processes. My friend Lauren and I run a business called Unrealist Technologies, we have just the coolest logo, don't we? If you are interested in contracting for all things software-related, Lauren and I make a great team, and either or both of us make a great addition to your team. Aside from the nuts and bolts of building web software, we can also help with product management and strategy as well as designing project management workflows. Fill out the contact form on the Unrealist site if you'd like to know more.
Coaching / Teaching
I've never formally coached anyone, but I know that I enjoy helping people succeed, and I enjoy learning and teaching things. The few leadership positions I've been fortunate to have came with one great perk, and that was that I was expected to spend time helping other people be successful. To encourage, to gently challenge, to teach, and even to be taught so that others can grow confidence in their own skills. At this point, I've got enough experience with building for the web that I make a great rubber duck for any problem, and I am especially interested in helping people succeed at this craft. I'm not quite sure yet what this would look like, but I am very interested in figuring out of there is a niche here for me to help other software engineers level up. Let's talk
Listen, I've got ADHD and I can develop an interest in just about anything it seems some days. Are you dying to work with me but can't figure out something that fits into the categories above? Fill out the contact form on the site and lets daydream about it.
